It’s always summer, and were all dying to go out and take a cool dip at the beach. Since Im a beach addict myself, I came to a point to finally give up on a finding a good, affordable resort. South beaches are always very relaxing and it provides you a relaxing day at the beach. So I did some research and found a simple yet tempting resort at Alegria.
One hundred and seventeen kilometers away from Cebu City, Alegria boasts of its pristine beaches, scenic and enchanting waterfalls, and unexplored caves among others. The town is also proud of its rich seabed perfect for snorkeling and diving. Baton Malunhaw Beach Resort is a development undertaken by the Municipality of Alegria, Cebu. It is located in Sangi, Alegria Cebu (10~15 minutes away from Kawasan Falls).
The resort which is developed and maintained by the Municipality of Alegria is very affordable which has a P40/head entrance fee.
The resort also has swimming pool for those who are not very fond of the beach.Aside from the resort, you can also enjoy the Canlaob Spring which has a very cooling sensation to those who are suffering from the scorching heat of the summer.

Thrift stores, or ukay ukay shops as it is called in the local language, abound Metro Manila and major cities in other regions. These stores are our version of the Salvation Army. The items sold here are mostly used and they range from anything including handkerchief and toys. If you really have the patience to go through the racks and piles, you may just find an authentic brand of designer clothes or bag for the lowest price ever.
Malls are slowly booming arund Cebu and one of my favorites is Park Mall since it faces the sea. It has a very humid but windy atmosphere which is very relaxing. Park Mall like its name has a huge space for parking area. There are also certain events held at Park Mall. One entertainment is the waterball challenge. Childrends and even adults are sealed in a plastic ball to roll around the pool. Its very entertaining and cost only P75.00.
